Letter from the President of TPN
December 8, 2008
Dear Members and Friends,
I hope that you are all doing very well and are having a wonderful holiday season.
I have news that must be shared with all of you. Our meeting for December has been cancelled. The board has decided to disband TPN. This has not been an easy decision however, due to the recent decline in membership and participation we are no long able to guarantee sponsors and this is vital to our existence. The other major factor is the inability to find new board members for next year. Our current board is not able to continue in this capacity and with no other volunteers we are not able to move forward.
With the disbanding of our group, we have been able to provide a donation to the following groups; Child Focus, Jude 22, Safe Nest, Shade Tree and the Las Vegas Rescue Mission. This will be from the remaining budget as is in the guidelines of our bi-laws.
